WSG acts to serve those most-in-need within Montgomery County, MD, across Maryland, and throughout the mid-Atlantic region. We deliver services in two arenas: private, fee-for-service agreements with businesses and non-profits as well as public contracts with government agencies. However, each of these venues reflects pay-as-you-go work plans and programming, and many individuals in our service area do not meet federal or other eligibility requirements. As a result, there are neighbors struggling among us who do not receive our assistance. For this reason, we are glad to accept unrestricted donations from foundations, corporations, and individuals so that we can strengthen programs and deliver services to populations that otherwise might be excluded from broad public contracts. We’ve identified three program areas where your support can make a direct difference in the quality of our programs and the quality of life for our customers. If you wish to donate, please be as generous as your own circumstances allow. The three areas toward which we dedicate your donations are:
- REBOUND, our strategic initiative serving re-entry customers
- young adults aging out of foster care
- financial literacy and basic budgeting
